Forbiddenplanet.co.uk (also known as Forbidden Planet International) and Forbiddenplanet.com sell, in store and online, comic books, graphic novels, and SF & cult merchandise. The first Forbidden Planet store began life in London in 1978 and due to store's success they moved to much larger premises on New Oxford Street. The London Megastore is now a city landmark, hosting signings and events throughout the year. In total, between the two groups there are currently some 30 stores worldwide.
